What Makes It Hard to Get Critical Production Hardware
Hardware No Longer Made
When OEMs stop making a component, tool, or assembly, or go out of business, your facility is left with no factory support.
Rising OEM Costs, No Alternative
OEMs raise replacement costs because you have no other place to buy from. Pricing leaves you paying a premium with no leverage.
Multi-Week Lead Times
Weeks-long lead times hit your bottom line and put production schedules at risk while you wait on a single critical component.
How We Help
For the damaged or discontinued part holding up your line, we do three things waiting on the OEM does not.
- We rebuild from the part you still have. Even when the OEM stopped making it or went away, we scan the failed hardware and engineer a replacement. No factory drawings required.
- A real alternative to OEM lock-in. One fixed price covers engineering, manufacturing, inspection, and delivery. You are not stuck paying whatever the factory quotes.
- A structured path instead of multi-week waiting. We run scan through delivery on a defined schedule so one critical component does not hold your production hostage.
Our 4-Step Process
Part Intake
Local pickup or ship to our Greater St. Louis engineering facility. No factory drawings required. For large equipment that cannot be moved, we perform on-site reverse engineering at your plant.
Engineering Definition
Led by mechanical engineers with advanced degrees and years of hands-on industry experience. Capture and modeling: Industrial 3D laser scanning (handheld and CMM) and reverse-engineering software to build a solid model from the failed or worn part. Restore and upgrade: Damaged features rebuilt to working geometry, with material upgrades locked in before anything is cut. Engineering output: Production-ready solid models and toleranced 2D drawings for manufacture.
Production Manufacturing
Turnkey production: We handle manufacturing, sourcing, scheduling, quality coordination, and delivery built to our engineering specs. Your team does not chase machine shops or manage multiple invoices.
Certified Verification & Delivery
Every unit is dimensionally verified against our engineering models before shipment. Engineering sign-off, then ready-to-install delivery to your dock.
How We Work With Your Plant
Ready-to-Install Replacement Hardware
For failed or worn parts when OEM support is gone, too expensive, or too slow. We reverse-engineer and deliver a ready-to-install replacement. One fixed price covers engineering, manufacturing, inspection, and delivery.
Need it faster? Expedited engineering and priority production available when workload allows.
The First-Time Fit Guarantee
If the part does not fit or install because of an error in our engineering or manufacture, we re-verify and recut at no charge. Covers fit and geometry of the delivered part only. Not downtime or failures outside the scanned component.
Your Engineering Stays On File
We keep your CAD, prints, and tooling on file. After the first build, another unit is manufacturing cost only.
Trusted by Midwest Industry
Experience across Midwest plants in:
Case Study: Broken Casting to CNC Part
A Midwest plant lost a cast impeller to a hub crack. OEM tooling was gone and a replacement meant weeks of waiting. We scanned the broken part, rebuilt it for CNC, and shipped it in 316L stainless.
Broken Original Casting
Critical structural hub crack causing a line-down event with no OEM tooling available.
Raw 3D Scan Data
3D scan captured the part's exact shape and size, accurate to within ±0.001 inches. No factory drawings needed.
CNC Process Conversion
Solid model rebuilt for 5-axis milling and checked against a dimensional map.
Fulfillment & Delivery
Skipped the foundry entirely. A 316L stainless steel drop-in part was CNC machined, checked, and shipped to the plant.
THE RESULT: 13+ weeks of lead time avoided and an estimated $50,000+ in downtime prevented.
Engineer-Led Reverse Engineering
Mechanical engineers with advanced degrees and 10+ years on industrial equipment. Your part gets a full engineering package before anything is cut, not a scan sent straight to a machine shop.
Fit We Stand Behind
If our engineering or manufacture causes a fit miss, we re-verify and recut at no charge. Plants trust us because we own the geometry, not just the invoice.
